'CMT Crossroads: Bob Seger and Jason Aldean' Confirmed

All-New Episode Will Debut Nov. 28 on CMT

Get ready to "take those old records off the shelf" when American music icon Bob Seger collaborates with country superstar Jason Aldean for an all-new installment of CMT Crossroads. The network's flagship music series pairs Seger, described by New York Daily News music critic Jim Farber as the "lion of literate American rock," with the affable Georgia native for an evening of never-before-heard duets on one another's hit songs.

CMT Crossroads: Bob Seger and Jason Aldean will premiere Nov 28 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The episode will be filmed later this month.

Seger, who just released his first studio CD in eight years called Ride Out, is among the top all-American rock stars -- a multitalented artist, songwriter and producer whose indelible body of work has affirmed his place in the annals of rock music. The songs of Seger exemplify the classic in classic rock: "Against the Wind," "Turn the Page," "Night Moves," "Hollywood Nights," "Rock and Roll Never Forgets," "Mainstreet," "We've Got Tonight" and "Like a Rock," to name just a few.

Inducted to both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Seger has sold over 52 million albums and has earned 13 platinum and 7 multiplatinum RIAA Certified sales awards, including such landmark albums as Night Moves, Stranger in Town, Against the Wind, Live Bullet and Nine Tonight, all of which have sold in excess of 5 million units.

A two-time ACM male vocalist of the year, Aldean released his sixth studio album, Old Boots, New Dirt, on Oct. 7. The new album's smoking lead single, "Burnin' It Down," earned platinum certification in only nine weeks, making it the fastest-selling single of 2014. To date, Aldean has sold more than 9 million albums and has taken 13 trips to No. 1 on the country radio charts. Each of Aldean's albums has been certified platinum.

Aldean was recently recognized by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the top male digital country artist in history with sales totaling more than 21 million downloads. He is currently headlining his monumental 2014 Burn It Down tour, which saw him play five stadium dates in addition to sold-out shows in the country's biggest amphitheaters and arenas.
