Fresh new duo Sundy Best were the perfect country artists to travel to Texas to perform on the Discover Great Stage Presented by Pizza Hut at the massive Austin City Limits Music Festival.

With a distinctive sound conjured up by one guitar, one cajon and two voices, these Kentucky natives have been doing things their own way for several years now. Their music videos are already playing on CMT, and coming up in November, they'll be featured as CMT's Listen Up artist of the month.

As for their ACL Fest performance, Nick Jamerson and Kris Bentley did what they do best -- wring more sound and feeling than it seems possible from their limited stage setup.

But before that, MTV's Pegah Rashti caught up with the guys to ask about their unusual name, the worst job they ever had, and whether they would rather have a head the size of a tennis ball or a watermelon. (Answer: A tennis ball, because it would be much easier to cover up, obviously.)

Sundy Best's third album, Salvation City, arrives on Dec. 2.

Check out the finger-busting, bare-handed drumming and mountain-sized vocals of "Southern Boy," "Shotgun Lady," "Lotta Love," "Until I Met You" and "I Wanna Go Home," live from the Discover Great Stage Presented by Pizza Hut at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
