Country Stars Confront Fans’ Bad Behavior

Tim McGraw, Jake Owen and More Lay Out Their Feelings to CMT Hot 20 Countdown

What’s causing so many country concerts to get out of control?

This week on CMT Hot 20 Countdown , superstars like Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum share their thoughts on the highly publicized troubles and tragedies that occurred this year at country concerts.

“It’s a conducive environment,” McGraw says.

“Sometimes people take it a little far,” added Owen.

Meanwhile, Aldean is already gearing up for a super-sized summer of concerts next year. What’s his big news? (Hint: You can show up in old boots or flip-flops.)

Plus, Brad Paisley appears to be sweating his seventh year as co-host of the CMA Awards , airing Wednesday (Nov. 5) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Coming up with jokes for his opening monolog with Carrie Underwood is apparently not as easy as it seems, so Paisley asks his fellow celebrities to give him something to poke fun at.

“If somebody out there is paying attention, come on,” he pleads. “Show some skin or something.”

Check out all this and much more on CMT Hot 20 Countdown airing Saturday and Sunday (Nov. 1-2) at 11 a.m. ET/PT.
