Carrie Underwood Reveals Greatest Hits Track Listing

Double-Disc Collection to Feature New and Unreleased Music

Carrie Underwood has revealed the track listing to her first-ever hits collection, Greatest Hits: Decade #1. Celebrating her first 10 years as a recording artist, the project will be a double-disc set featuring 25 tracks.

Alongside hits like “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Before He Cheats” and “Undo It,” the album will also include her latest single, the spiritually-minded “Something in the Water,” and a brand new song called “Little Toy Guns” (written by Underwood, Chris DeStefano and Hillary Lindsey).

In addition, four of Underwood’s best-loved songs will be presented in never-before-released versions. Those songs are “How Great Thou Art” (with Vince Gill) live from ACM Presents: Girls’ Night Out and writing session work tape versions of “So Small,” “Last Name” and “Mama’s Song.”

Work tapes are quick, unpolished recordings made by the songwriters themselves at the very beginning of a song’s creation. The inclusion on Underwood’s album will provide an inside perspective on her songwriting process.

On Wednesday (Nov. 5), Underwood and Brad Paisley will co-host the 48th annual CMA Awards where she is nominated in three categories — female vocalist of the year, musical event of the year and music video of the year (both for “Somethin’ Bad” with Miranda Lambert).

Greatest Hits: Decade #1 will be released on Dec. 9.
