We all have those college snacks we ate way too much of and wish we could erase from our memories. Mine were Tombstone pizzas, air-popped popcorn and Oreo milkshakes.
Carrie Underwood’s college go-to was Pop-Tarts.
And she might be back on them, even if it’s just for the remaining few months of her pregnancy.
She told Rachael Ray that those toaster pastries were the one out-of-the-ordinary thing she has craved so far.
“I think I give myself license to have things I might not normally have,” Underwood revealed on the Rachael Ray Show. “Sometimes I’ll wake up in the middle of the night and I’ll be like, ‘Man, I’m hungry’ and then I’ll get up and have a midnight snack, which I’ve never done before.
“I ate Pop-Tarts. I haven’t done that since college,” she confessed, before she kind of blamed her husband for bringing them into the house. “I knew they were in the pantry. My husband put them in there. So I guess that was kind of a craving that was weird. I’ve never seen Pop-Tarts in our house before. For some reason, they magically appeared in our pantry. I saw them there, and I wanted them.”
That makes me wonder if Underwood will start to crave other foods from her college years.
Will she sit down on the couch with a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and binge-watch TV?
Will she order a pizza and eat the whole thing?
Are there Double Stuf Oreos in her freezer right now?
If there are cheese fries on the menu, will she order herself a large? With a real Coke?
If she stays in for dinner, would it be a toss up between a fried bologna sandwich, ramen noodles or a Hot Pocket?
And does she know that Froot Loops are not just for breakfast anymore?
