It’s a Christmas miracle! The Party Down South family is back for their Christmas Hangover special airing Thursday (Dec. 18) at 8 p.m. ET/PT. And trust me, they are getting real country for Christmas with skeet shooting, Daddy funneling family dinner, Murray spiking the eggnog and much more. You’ll even meet their families and a few old friends along the way.

In this sneak peek, Mattie, being the kind soul she is (when she’s not being her alter-ego Martha), invites Walt to join her and her family for some good old fashioned holiday skeet shooting in her hometown. Mattie believes she can outshoot Walt any day. But, to her surprise, he brings out the big guns (no pun intended) and shows her how it’s done.

You know there has to be a friendly wager involved, so Mattie and Walt bet a foot massage. Once Walt wins and takes his boots off, you know it does not smell like a fresh pine Christmas tree. Mattie asks for a hazmat suit. That’s how bad it smelled. We can only imagine …
