With freezing temperatures across the nation and disgruntled weather reporters shivering for cameras on the local news, it looks like we have officially arrived in the dead of winter.

The fact that there was snow recently in Southern California and reports of minus 54 degree wind chills in Minnesota leads me to one question:

If we don’t call it a “polar vortex,” can I still wear my new outfit?
