Rascal Flatts Starting a National Riot

Las Vegas Residency Leads to Additional Work on Their Riot Tour 2015

Fans worried about missing a Rascal Flatts show this year need not worry any longer.

The trio’s recently-announced Las Vegas residency -- billed as Rascal Flatts’ Vegas Riot -- likely sent more than a few folks into panic mode as they scrambled to figure out how they could get to Sin City to see their favorite group perform.

As it turns out, the string of Vegas dates will now serve as the kickoff for the official Riot Tour 2015 which will fire up May 29 in St. Louis and hit at least 30 other cities with Scotty McCreery throughout the summer.

This Vegas stint is a big deal for the guys, though. The string of nine shows at The Joint, which is part of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, will mark the first-ever country residency for the venue.

Bassist Jay DeMarcus is more than ready to get things started, saying in a statement the Hard Rock shows will be an opportunity for them “to try new things and do whatever the hell we want.”

Well, if you can’t abide by that mantra in Las Vegas, where can you?

And now, fortunately for fans, what happens in Vegas -- as far as Rascal Flatts, anyway -- will not stay in Vegas.

Although no official dates have been released, cities announced for the Riot Tour 2015 include stops in Texas, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Connecticut, New York and California. Stay tuned for more details.
