I’ll bet Lee Brice hasn’t slept a wink since his Saturday night (Jan. 24) encounter in Boston.
Country megastar Garth Brooks’ tour stopped in for a series of dates at Beantown’s TD Garden, and who was in the audience? None other than Brice himself, who was having the time of his life.
But according to the tweets from fans, Brice didn’t stay in the audience for long. The singer joined Brooks onstage for a performance of “More Than a Memory.”

Singing with Brooks is a monumental moment in itself for any artist. But for Brice, it was particularly special because he co-wrote Brooks’ smash single with Billy Montana and Kyle Jacobs.
Hearing your song recorded by one of the biggest artists on the planet? Pretty great. Having that song debut at No. 1 on the Billboard country singles chart? Damn great.
Standing in front of thousands of people eight years later singing that song with said megastar who took said song to No. 1? Well, that’s just priceless.
And Brice was so excited he couldn’t help but share the news with fans, tweeting:
Bucket list…check…Holy crap…I just sang with @garthbrooks in Boston! #BostonStrong #ThankYouGarth

Of course, the story wouldn’t be complete without a tweet back from the G-man himself.
Brooks sent a special message into the Twitterverse just for Brice, posting:
@leebrice Lee, can't thank you enough for making the late Saturday show so special! Boston loves you and you deserve it! love you, pal, g

It’s safe to say that night will be so much more than a memory for Brice for many years to come.
