Big & Rich Play 'Bachelor' Matchmakers

They Teach the Girls How to Write From the Heart

Big & Rich made a guest appearance on ABC’s The Bachelor Monday night (Feb. 9).

The episode, taped in Deadwood, South Dakota, featured the duo helping the show’s female contestants write songs expressing their feelings for Bachelor Chris Soules.

Soules, a farmer from Iowa, is a proud country fan himself and used Big & Rich’s songwriting skills to help determine which girl may make a good romantic match.

Chris then took one prospective match, Britt, on an unexpected date to a Big & Rich concert. The couple were even called onstage at which time Chris gave Britt one of the show’s coveted roses, meaning she was still in the running for his heart.

During the show, Big & Rich performed two songs: their megahit “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Lovin’ Lately,” a new track featuring Tim McGraw from their latest album, Gravity.

Be sure to also catch the world premiere of Big & Rich’s Gravity Quadrilogy this Valentine’s weekend on CMT.
