Dierks Bentley: V Day Hall Pass or Glass of Wine?

At This Stage of Life, It Could Go Either Way

Make up your mind, Dierks Bentley. Do you want a little romance on Valentine’s Day or not?

According to The Country Vibe, it sounds like Bentley doesn’t really know exactly what he wants to do on Saturday (Feb. 14) — the most romantic day of the year.

Bentley has been married now for almost 10 years — to his pal Cassidy from eighth grade at Phoenix’s Ingleside Middle School — and they have three little kids at home.

“I’m at a time in my life where I got a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old and a zero-year-old, and we’re just really trying to survive on a day-to-day basis,” Bentley said. “I mean, we get about four hours of sleep, and we’re literally in survival mode, so I think there should be a hall pass for guys in that phase of their life.”

A hall pass would definitely get him out of any obligatory romantic gestures, but Bentley and his wife aren’t difficult to please.

“It doesn’t take much at this stage for us to get excited,” he said. “A dinner alone is heaven. I mean, if we can just have a dinner and a glass of wine, that’s awesome.”
