Zac Brown Band to Make SNL Debut

They'll Be the Musical Guests While Chris Hemsworth Hosts

Live from New York, it’s the Zac Brown Band!

Saturday Night Live announced Tuesday (Feb. 24) that country group Zac Brown Band will be the musical guests on the show’s upcoming March 7 episode. Australian actor Chris Hemsworth of Thor and Avengers: Age of Ultron fame will host. It will be the SNL debut for both Hemsworth and the three-time Grammy-winning band.

The veteran sketch-comedy show has featured a healthy dose of country artists as of late. Blake Shelton served as host and musical guest on Jan. 24. Taylor Swift, who has hosted and performed in the past, made an appearance on the show’s 40th anniversary special on Feb. 15.

Zac Brown Band join the ranks of other country greats who have graced the SNL stage, like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks, Randy Travis, Dwight Yoakam and Linda Ronstadt.

Zac Brown Band’s current single is “Homegrown.”
