Tim McGraw Plots His Return to Nashville

Oscar Performer Announces His First Music City Show in Years

Tim McGraw has announced his first Nashville concert in six years will take place at Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 15.

The show featuring “We Are Tonight” singer Billy Currington and newcomer Chase Bryant and is a stop on McGraw’s Shotgun Rider tour. McGraw’s single of the same name just reached the No. 1 summit of Billboard’s country airplay chart.

It’s been a big week for the superstar, who took the spotlight at Sunday’s (Feb. 22) Academy Award ceremony to perform what would become one of the show’s most memorable moments — a beautiful but heart-wrenching rendition of Glen Campbell’s “I’m Not Gonna Miss You.”
