Shania Twain Announces Final Tour

She Reveals the News on Good Morning America

Shania Twain is going back on tour. She made the announcement Wednesday (March 4) on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Speaking with host Robin Roberts, Twain said, “Finally, after 11 years, I am going back on tour.” The announcement was met with cheers from the crew. “It’s been a long time,” Twain added.

She also revealed that it will be her final time hitting the road.

“This is going to be a big tour for me because it’s going to be my last. This is my last tour. I’m going to make the most of it. Let’s put it that way,” she said.

The Rock This Country tour begins June 5 in Seattle. Gavin DeGraw will be on most U.S. dates (but not Seattle), while Wes Mack will join the tour in Canada and Seattle. Following the Seattle date, Twain will tour throughout Canada before crossing into the U.S. with a June 30 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Dates have been announced through Aug. 23 in Fresno, California.

Twain concluded a two-year residency in Las Vegas in December. She released a live CD/DVD package from that engagement on Tuesday.
