Crying? About a spring break song? I know. It sounds impossible, right?

I mean, I haven’t cried this hard over a Luke Bryan song since "The Car in Front of Me."

And I know you’re thinking. How can a song about spring break and college kids and Sigma Chi tattoos and beaches make you cry? Let me explain.

“Spring Breakdown” is a song is about Bryan’s bittersweet emotions over his last run of spring break shows scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday (March 11-12) at the Spinnaker Beach Club in Panama City, Florida.

The video shows Bryan onstage and the crowd having the time of their lives. And then he starts singing about how they’ve all been together year after year and beer after beer. He sings about how he wishes it could last forever, but they have to roll on home.

Bryan’s longtime videographer, Michael Monaco, produced and directed the video. The song is featured on Bryan’s Spring Break … Checkin’ Out album set for release Tuesday (March 10).
