Jason Aldean: Blue Hole Road to Abbey Road

Reflecting on Path From "Hicktown" to London

Late Sunday night (March 8), Jason Aldean got a little bittersweet.

“10 years ago today Hicktown got played for the 1st time on country radio. Thank u to everyone for the last 10 years. Its been a helluva ride.”

A helluva ride that took Aldean all the way to Europe for the past couple of weeks.

Just a week ago, he posted an Instagram picture of him and fiancee Brittany Kerr in Sweden.

“Spending the day in Stockholm with this beauty. This place is awesome!!! Headed to Ireland next. Cant wait. #sweden #country2country #goodtimes.”

He’s clearly getting the hang of hashtagging.

Then there was the post from Ireland.

“Hate to leave Ireland. We have had a blast here the last few days. Looking forward to seeing London for the first time tomorrow!!!! #Lovethisgirl #Dublin #Ireland.”

Kerr chimed in on her personal Instagram with a picture of her and Aldean recreating the Beatles’ 1969 Abbey Road album cover shot, which I think is mandatory once your plane lands in London.

“Abbey Road Strollin’,” she wrote.

Aldean returns to the U.S. soon to kick off a string of Burnin’ It Down tour dates starting on March 26 in Toledo, Ohio.
