Country singer Meghan Linsey (formerly of duo Steel Magnolia) brought her A-game to last night’s battle on The Voice. Linsey squared off with Paul Pfau for an intense duet of the Beatles hit “Don’t Let Me Down.” Watch below.
While Pharrell named Pfau the winner, the other three judges were quick to buzz for a chance at stealing the soulful Linsey. It should come as no surprise she went with her buddy Blake Shelton. With the two friends working together, The Voice just got even more interesting for country music fans.
And as expected, Shelton couldn’t help but gloat about landing the talented singer.
Wait, Did y’all see that?! I got Meghan!! Think @adamlevine is somewhere crying alone right now? Thinking about how he almost won The Voice…
