If you’ve ever dreamed of looking like a country star on a red carpet, now’s your chance to do it for real.

The Dry House first caught my attention when I read Dierks Bentley’s wife Cassidy was investing in the Nashville salon, and now that I’ve had my appointment, I can give the inside scoop.

The dimly lit, boutique-y space is set in upscale Green Hills and is part big-city glam, part Southern charm. It’s a “blowout-only” salon and among the first of its kind in Nashville.

“It’s been fun watching my wife do this,” Bentley told CMT’s Cody Alan. “She was in advertising before I stole her away from San Francisco and brought her out here to Nashville. That was the end of work for her. She’s been putting all that on hold and been raising our family. Now she’s getting the chance to do that – it’s fun!”

In places like Los Angeles or New York City some women view blowouts like a manicure – an affordable luxury you can hire someone else to do for you. And the end result can make you look like a million bucks.

After my visit to the Dry House, I realized these stylists use a blow dryer in ways I never could, creating shape and volume that made me feel red-carpet ready. It was a fun way to spend an hour getting pampered like a country star.
