Kenny Chesney Brings the Big Revival Tour to Life

Roadwork Begins Next Week at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena

Look out, Kenny Chesney fans. The country superstar is bringing the Big Revival tour to you, and he’s aiming to stir your soul and move you like never before.

Marking his first tour in almost two years, he’s more than ready to greet his No Shoes Nation once again and is holding nothing back as he prepares to return to the road.

“I can’t stand to be away from the fans,” he said. “They fire me up.” Referring to a 2014 show on the Gulf Coast, he added, “That’s why we decided to throw a stadium show on the beach at the Flora-Bama line … so I could see the No Shoes Nation doing what they do best.”

Yep, rocking out and having one of those incredible out-of-body, consumed-by-music moments where everything besides the magic of the show just disappears and fades away. That’s a Kenny Chesney show for you, friends.

And on this tour, there will definitely be magic. He’s bringing in the big guns and bells and whistles to make the production pretty spectacular.

“It’s all part of it,” he said. “How it looks, how it sounds, how you feel. I had the time to really seek out what was special ... really find things that are innovative even if it’s just the quality they deliver. I’ve got some of the best people in the business out on the Big Revival Tour, folks who’ve worked for Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC, Lady Gaga. ... They get putting music across in big places, but they also understand that to me -- and the fans -- the songs are important.”

The tour will continue to push the boundaries as Chesney strives to aim higher, bigger and brighter.

“Every time, I want people to have the best night of their lives,” he said. “I take that very seriously. I’ve heard enough stories about people planning their summer around coming to see us. When you know that, you always wanna give ‘em more and better, trying to think, ‘What else?’”

The Big Revival tour kicks off March 26 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena with special guests Jake Owen and Chase Rice.
