Luke Bryan: Now Batting for the Chicago White Sox

He Hangs With the Team During Spring Training

Luke Bryan popped up on the field during Chicago White Sox spring training Monday (March 23) in Arizona. The country superstar took batting practice and answered questions from the media, fitting right in with the team and his new uniform.

“I learned at a young age that I was not an athlete,” he joked after connecting with a few pitches and whiffing on a few others. “Glad I made the right choice.”

Saying that he plays a lot of backyard baseball with his sons and nephew, Bryan talked about his friendship with White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche and even got to meet Bo Jackson, who told the singer he’d be feeling sore by 5 p.m.
