ACM Entertainer of the Year Nominees on CMT Hot 20 Countdown

Reba McEntire, Kip Moore and Tortuga Music Festival Also in the News

The Academy of Country Music Awards are taking place Sunday night (April 19) in Arlington, Texas, and on an all-new CMT Hot 20 Countdown, we sit down with all five nominees for the most coveted prize — entertainer of the year.

The competition is tough, but Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert are all vying for the night’s biggest honor.

Speaking of the ACM Awards, Reba McEntire — a former entertainer of the year winner — is here for the entire show. The country icon looks back on her most fierce fashion statements and explains how a dinner with Brooks & Dunn resulted in their upcoming co-headlining engagement in Las Vegas.

Reba also talks new music, the common thread on her just-released Love Somebody album and singing with Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. She’ll even help Hot 20 host Cody improve his acting chops with some insightful tips.

Kip Moore crashes a wedding in his new music video, “I’m to Blame,” and we’re on set for all the action. Find out if he hated that powder blue tux or if he was married to the idea from the start.

Christina Aguilera goes country! Well, kind of. We go behind the scenes on the Nashville TV series as the pop music diva brings the drama as her character, Jade St. John.

Grab your flip-flops as we hit the beach for the oceanfront Tortuga Music Festival with Kenny Chesney, the Zac Brown Band, Jake Owen, The Band Perry, Chase Rice and Frankie Ballard. Plus, we go one-on-one with Jana Kramer and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini, the headliners for CMT’s inaugural Next Woman of Country tour. Jana also shares how she met her fiancee, NFL player Michael Caussin.

And, of course, we’ll be counting down the 20 hottest videos in the land.

Tune in to an all-new CMT Hot 20 Countdown this Saturday and Sunday (April 18-19) at 9 a.m. ET/PT.
