Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer Get Platinum Certifications

Gold Awards Go to Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell

Hunter Hayes, Jana Kramer, Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell, Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe hit heavy metal during the month of March, according to gold and platinum certifications released this week by the RIAA.

Hayes’ 2013 single, “I Want Crazy,” was certified double platinum for combined sales and streams totaling 2 million units.

Additionally, two of Hayes' other singles -- “Everybody's Got Somebody but Me” and “Invisible” were certified gold for movement of 500,000 copies.

Kramer claimed a platinum single award for her 2011 hit, “Why Ya Wanna.”

Gold certifications also went to Brice’s “Drinking Class,” Eldredge’s “Mean to Me,” Hunt’s “Take Your Time” and Swindell’s “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey.” Shelton and Monroe were awarded gold for their collaboration, “Lonely Tonight.”

Taylor Swift’s received additional multiplatinum awards for two of her older recordings -- “22” (triple platinum) and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” (six-times platinum). “Style,” Swift’s single released in October, was certified platinum.
