Eric Church Is a Hot Concert Ticket

His Outsiders World Tour Recently Snagged Top Spot on 'Billboard' Tally

I hate to tell you this, Eric Church, but you are hardly an outsider in the eyes of Billboard. According to them, you’re one of the hottest tickets in music right now.

Church’s Outsiders World Tour recently snagged the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s box office recap for North American concerts.

To do this, the country superstar exceeded ticket sales in a single week of all genres of music and acts such as Fleetwood Mac, Maroon and even Stevie Wonder.

According to Billboard, the North Carolina native landed in the top spot after generating $2.1 million in ticket sales from four Canadian shows on the massively impressive tour landed him in the top spot.

The Outsiders World Tour launched in 2014 and has hit more than 60 cities and sold more than 750,000 tickets, even setting attendance records at three of the stops, including his show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The tour has reportedly raked in $35 million at the box office.

Hot on his heels is none other than Jason Aldean, who comes in at No. 2 on Billboard’s list with his Burn It Down Tour. It launched in 2014, stopped in 42 cities, and brought in a reported $42 million at 48 performances. The 2015 leg of the tour launched in February.

Of course, not to be outdone, Miranda Lambert landed at No. 10 with her Platinum tour. Her March 12 show at American Airlines Center in Dallas brought in $522,435.

Haven’t had a chance to catch these favorites this year? Have no fear.

Church’s tour is running through September, with more than 20 future shows on the books, while Lambert’s 2015 run rocks on through July. The 2015 leg of Aldean’s Burn It Down tour will also continue through this summer and will merge with Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival tour for select dates.

Ironically enough, Church and Lambert will also briefly join Chesney’s tour this year -- Church for five stadium dates and Lambert for at stop at Chicago’s Soldier Field.
