Jon Pardi Offers Fans His Other Sides

Singer-Songwriter Preparing Digital EP of Unreleased Material

In the world of show business, newcomer Jon Pardi knows you’ve got to give the people what they want. So when you fans demand more music, that’s exactly what you deliver.

And that’s exactly what the California native plans to do on May 19. He’s pulling a pretty creative and sophisticated artistic move, digitally unleashing a collection of never-before-released songs on an EP titled The B Sides, 2011-2014.

All of the tunes were recorded in consideration for Pardi’s forthcoming sophomore album, Write You a Song, but we all know that even when the tunes are truly great, every song can’t make the final project.

The ones that are omitted from the album are usually never heard. But thanks to Pardi’s ingenuity, that’s not the case this time.

And fans should be delighted with this news of this release, as these songs will sound at least a little familiar to those who’ve seen the “Pardi animal” in concert. He’s been including many of them in his rollicking, wildly-entertaining live shows.

Now we can own them and take the party home with us -- songs like “Fightin’ the Fool,” “Over My Head,” “Drinkin’ With Me” and “Rainy Night Song,” along with a few others all written or co-written by Pardi.

If the songs aren’t enough Pardi in your life, you can get more by checking out his three-part documentary, Intro to the Pardi, where he chronicles his journey to Nashville and the launch of his career. Right now, Pardi is still relishing his time on the road with Alan Jackson’s Keepin’ It Country tour.
