Keith Urban Goes for "Broke" With Jason Derulo

Urban and Stevie Wonder Make Guest Appearances on R&B Artist's New Track

If you’re gonna be “Broke,” Keith Urban, you definitely want to be there with with Stevie Wonder and Jason Derulo.

Urban is one of the superstars featured on Derulo’s forthcoming album, Everything Is 4, on a track called “Broke.”

Let the genre-bending continue!

Wonder also appears on the tune, playing the harmonica, while Urban contributes guitar and, we’re all thinking, that awesome banjo riff, too.

The infectious single doesn’t try to hide its little morsel of country flavor, nor does it try to hide its message, “More money, more problems, so I’d rather be broke.” It should be a crowd-pleaser when Derulo’s album arrives June 2.

Hopefully, country fans will embrace the collaboration. After all, Derulo is no stranger to the country scene. Remember his appearance and performance at the 2014 CMT Music Awards? He was dynamite and an absolutely delightful guy to bump into backstage.

In related news, Urban is previewing the video for “Come Back to Me,” a track from his Fuse album, on his official website. The video will get wider distribution beginning Thursday (May 21).
