Tim McGraw’s Journey to Tomorrowland and Beyond

Are More Acting Roles on His Horizon?

Get your popcorn and candy ready. Tim McGraw’s newest film Tomorrowland arrived in theaters Friday (May 22).

The Disney sci-fi action flick also stars A-listers George Clooney and Hugh Laurie, best known for his starring role on the critically-acclaimed TV series House, M.D.

To say McGraw is a talented, well-respected actor almost makes me feel like a broken record. We’ve all long agreed the superstar was not only made for the musical stage, he’s also right at home on the silver screen as well.

His appearances in films like Friday Night Lights, The Blind Side, Country Strong — heck even the hysterical Four Christmases — all prove that.

So he is now making the jump to the small screen?

It looks like he might be. Deadline.com recently reported McGraw is slated to star in a new series for TNT — a crime called Robbers — based on a 2000 novel about two drifters who go on a crime spree in Texas.

Everyone wants a piece of McGraw. Meanwhile, make a quick stop at the concession stand and get ready see him in Tomorrowland.

CMT Hot 20 Countdown recently talked to McGraw and Clooney about their new film.
