Jamaica goes country this weekend on an all-new CMT Hot 20 Countdown. We travel to the Caribbean island for Boots on the Beach.
We’ll set sail on a catamaran down the Jamaican coast with Chris Young, sample some local cuisine with Jerrod Niemann and go bobsledding through the jungle with Tyler Farr. There are oceanfront concerts, world record attempts with Casey James, and we’ll introduce you to country newcomers Cam, Logan Mize and Josh Dorr.
We’ll stop by Cinnamon Hill, a plantation home where Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash vacationed when they were in Jamaica — and the house has a dark past.
Plus, Farr pulls an outrageous prank on Niemann, and you’ll only see the video on Hot 20.
Kacey Musgraves releases her new album, Pageant Material, and she won’t be backed into a corner when it comes to her music. Plus, hot newcomer Kelsea Ballerini has one big reason to celebrate as she bucks a trend for female country artists.
Brantley Gilbert teams up with Southern-rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd for a brand new CMT Crossroads. We’ll sit down with Gilbert and members of the band right before they crank up the volume for their CMT special.
We have the world premieres of two music videos. First, it’s “21” from Hunter Hayes, then it’s Jake Owen’s “Real Life.” Also on tap is a bonus video from Farr. As always, we’ll be counting down the 20 hottest videos in the land.
Tune in to an all-new CMT Hot 20 Countdown this Saturday and Sunday (June 27-28) at 9 a.m. ET/PT.
