Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Brad Paisley were the headliners this weekend at FarmBorough, the first-ever country music festival in New York City. The event took place Friday through Sunday (June 26-28) on Randall’s Island in the East River.
The significance of the festival was recognized by Nashville and the country music community. For years, New York City was without a fulltime country radio station, but that changed in 2013 with the arrival of WNSH (Nash FM) and sold-out shows by the likes of Bryan and Eric Church.
In addition to Bryan, Bentley and Paisley, the lineup for the three-day festival also featured
the Cadillac Three, Brandy Clark, Lindsay Ell, Mickey Guyton, Dustin Lynch, Maddie & Tae, Logan Mize, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Joe Nichols, Jon Pardi, Cassadee Pope, Raelynn, Sturgill Simpson, Canaan Smith, Chris Stapleton, Striking Matches, Charlie Worsham, Dwight Yoakam and many others.
