Lee Brice Fan Spins Fiancee Round and Round

Chicago Proposal to the Tune of "I Don't Dance"

In all my years as a country music journalist, I've seen some things at concerts. Some good things. Some awful things. But never have I seen anything this hopelessly romantic and perfectly country.

At Sunday’s (July 12) Windy City Smokeout in Chicago, local resident Zack Davis brought his girlfriend Lauren Kunes up onto the stage during Lee Brice's festival-closing show, dropped down on one knee and asked her to marry him. All while Brice was singing his ACM single record of the year "I Don't Dance."

When it was done, and Davis had spun Kunes round and round in circles, Brice hugged them both, and then the crowd of about 10,000 fans cheered the happy couple on.

And, yes, she said yes.

After their big night, Davis put a photo on Instagram thanking Brice for his participation.

"Thank you @leebriceofficial for making the best day of my life so special! Thank you to all my best friends that helped pull this insane proposal off! #windycitysmokeout #proposal #leebrice #ChiCityMyCity #LKZDFarewellTour @wcsmokeout."
