Jason Aldean Hits No. 1 With "Tonight Looks Good on You"

Sam Hunt's 'Montevallo' Returns to Top With New Chart Schedule

Guess what’s here?

It’s the first week of Billboard’s newly-rescheduled charts, and you’d think there would be more excitement for such an auspicious occasion. Alas, though, there are no new albums to recognize and only two new songs.

Still, it’s a great week for Jason Aldean, whose "Tonight Looks Good on You" stands at No. 1 after an 18-week meander up the charts.

It’s a terrific week for Sam Hunt, too. His Montevallo bounces back to the top of Billboard’s country albums chart. According to Nielsen SoundScan, Montevallo has sold a heartwarming 642,604 copies.

Three albums return to the list: Cam’s Welcome to Cam Country EP (back at No. 43), the Oak Ridge BoysRock of Ages: Hymns & Gospel Favorites (No. 48) and Big Smo’s Kuntry Livin’ (No. 49).

The new songs are Clare Dunn’s “Move On” (No. 58) and Jackie Lee’s “Headphones” (No. 60). Rocker Steven Tyler’s “Love Is Your Name” snaps back into contention at No. 51.

Bunching up directly behind Montevallo, in descending order, are the Zac Brown Band’s Jekyll + Hyde, are Kacey MusgravesPageant Material, Little Big Town’s Pain Killer and Eric Church’s The Outsiders.

Easton Corbin’s About to Get Real, the bestselling country album for the previous two weeks, has slipped to No. 11.

The No. 2 through No. 5 songs are Brantley Gilbert’s “One Hell of an Amen,”

Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” Michael Ray’s “Kiss You In The Morning” and Canaan Smith's “Love You Like That” (last week’s No. 1).

Class dismissed.
