Nicole Kidman is on the cover of the August issue of Vogue magazine. She looks stunning, which is no surprise. But what was surprising to me were some of the details she revealed about her life in Nashville with Keith Urban.
For starters, part of the interview took place on the front nine at Hillwood Country Club in Nashville. I never would’ve pictured Urban and Kidman being country clubbers, but there they were.
She also talks about the genius of Southern fried grits.
She answers her own front door at her home in Nashville.
She shows off Urban’s recording studio on their first floor, overlooking their home’s backyard.
She serves coffee in mugshot mugs: each one with the mugshot of a famous musician.
And this is how the actor, wife and mom to Sunny and Fifi describes her family/career balance:
“Keith and I always say, ‘We’re doing a play,’ ‘We’re doing a tour,’ because it is like that — the family has to do it together,” she says of their insistence on staying together as a unit, wherever Urban’s music and her movies take them.
