Darius Rucker is taking his Southern Style home to Charleston, South Carolina, on Wednesday (Aug. 26). In a cryptic Twitter message Monday (Aug. 24), the singer said, “I love playing all over the world but there is NOTHING like home. So what do you say we all meet up for a quick jam in South Carolina soon?”
The award-winning artist wasn’t so coy Tuesday (Aug. 25) morning, revealing the city and date of his surprise jam session.
Can't leave y'all hanging any longer. I’m taping a #CMTInstantJam TOMORROW night in Charleston! Want to be there? Details at 9am tomorrow.

Charleston, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for more details about the secret show.
CMT’s Instant Jam follows an artist along as they surprise fans with an exclusive show in their area. Featuring live performances, the series also shares a behind-the-scenes look at the hours leading up to the concert. Kenny Chesney and Florida Georgia Line have previously taken part in the series.
Rucker released his country debut, Learn to Live, in 2008. His fourth studio album, Southern Style, was released in March. Feel-good tunes “Homegrown Honey” and the title track serve as the first two releases from the project.
Rucker’s CMT Instant Jam is scheduled to air late this summer or early fall.
