Sam Hunt’s “House Party” boogies into the winner’s circle on Billboard’s country airplay chart, arriving there 30 weeks after its debut. This is Hunt’s third No. 1 song, the two earlier ones having been “Leave the Night On” and “Take Your Time.”

In the third week following its release, Luke Bryan’s Kill the Lights still stands steadfastly at No. 1 on the country albums chart. But it has dropped to No. 2 on the all-genres Billboard 200 rankings, edged out by Disturbed’s Immortalized.

Meanwhile, Kip Moore claims the highest-debuting album of the week with Wild Ones. It enters at No. 2 on initial sales of 35,240 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

By contrast, Bryan sold 53,947 units during its third week out. This brings total sales of Kill the Lights to 457,771 copies, tantalizingly close to the 500,000 it will need to gain gold certification.

There are two other new albums to note: Curtis Grimes’ Bottom of the Fifth (bowing at No. 27) and Linda Ronstadt’s Just One Look: Classic Linda Ronstadt (No. 32).

Returning to the chart are Alabama’s Angels Among Us: Hymns & Gospel Favorites (No. 26) and Garth Brooks’ Man Against Machine (No. 47).

First-time songs include Little Big Town’s “Pain Killer” (No. 58), James Otto’s “Somewhere Tonight” (No. 59) and Kristian Bush’s “Light Me Up” (No. 60).

The No. 3 through No. 5 albums, in that order, are Elvis Presley’s Elvis Forever, Hunt’s Montevallo and the Zac Brown Band’s Jekyll + Hyde.

To complete the Top 5 songs cluster, we have are Dustin Lynch’s “Hell of a Night,” Thomas Rhett’s “Crash and Burn,” Chris Janson’s “Buy Me a Boat” and Keith Urban’s “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.”

Last week’s reigning song, Frankie Ballard’s “Young & Crazy,” falls to No. 6.
