Garth Brooks Returns to “Low Places” With High-Profile Friends

Remake of Hit Will Feature George Strait, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line

Can you believe it’s been 25 years since Garth Brooks released “Friends in Low Places”?

We all know the song, love it and have probably blessed karaoke bars with our own rendition of the song over the years. I mean, it’s a bona fide crowd pleaser and a country classic.

So I must admit I’m a little jealous of George Strait, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line, who are apparently joining Garth for a remake of the hit.

Which is really like the ultimate karaoke moment. They get to sing the tune with the man himself.

Earlier this week, an unnamed source revealed the new project to Billboard. Brooks’ publicist later confirmed the news to USA Today.

Now that the cat is out of the proverbial bag, I have to join the rest of Brooks’ fans in saying, “Hallelujah!” With that lineup of guests, we know this remake will be worth the wait.
