Carrie Underwood Playing CMT Instant Jam in Atlanta

All the Details About Tonight’s Show at Variety Playhouse

Now the peach and the Dubsmash video make perfect sense.

Carrie Underwood is in Atlanta and will be performing a CMT Instant Jam show on Friday night (Sept. 18).

The free concert will be held at the intimate and historic Variety Playhouse in the Little Five Points neighborhood. (If you miss the live show, you can still catch it when it airs on CMT in October.)

The pop-up show is 100 percent free, but you will need a wristband to get in. Those CMT Instant Jam wristbands will be distributed starting at 10 a.m. ET in the Central Park area of the Atlantic Station neighborhood.

Underwood hinted that something good was about the happen when she posted a photo of a giant peach on Twitter on Thursday morning. No caption, just the peach.

Later that day, she posted a Dubsmash video of herself pretending to sing Ray Charles’ “Georgia on My Mind.”

And then Friday morning, she retweeted the big announcement made by the local radio station, Kicks 101.5.

Alison makes her living loving country music. She's based in Chicago, but she's always leaving her heart in Nashville.
