Dierks Bentley and Taylor Swift Team Up for a “Killer Show”

Hear His Ten-Year-Old Hit at Her Kansas City Concert

Just when you think you can pack up and go home and put your tired old boots away for good, Taylor Swift calls.

That’s pretty much what happened to Dierks Bentley. He’d just wrapped his own Sounds of Summer tour in Atlanta over the weekend, then he flew to Kansas City to give Swift a hand.

Which meant his boots had to come out of retirement.

After Atlanta, Bentley had tweeted:

But then when Swift invited him to her Monday (Sept. 21) night show at the Sprint Center, where they sang his 2006 “Every Mile a Memory,” he had to put those boots back on.

There was some speculation that Swift would bring out a local celeb, like Paul Rudd or Jason Sudeikis. And those would’ve been cool guests. But Bentley? Always a good idea.
