Lindsay Ell's Crazy Broadway Busking Plan

24-Hour Marathon Concert Starts Thursday Night

Keith Urban did it in Denver. Maddie & Tae did it in Nashville. And now Lindsay Ell is planning a busking session on Music City's Lower Broadway -- with a twist.

But Ell isn't just going to perform on a street corner for tips, she's going to do it for 24 hours straight. And even better, her tips will go directly to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Ell -- one of CMT’s Next Women of Country -- has a new single “By The Way” which will go live on iTunes right when she starts this marathon concert at 11 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 1).

She'll be busking outside the Opry Originals store at the corner of 3rd and Broadway, and will have a few guest artists join her throughout the night and the next day. The concert will conclude at 11 p.m. on Friday.

Early on Wednesday morning, Ell tweeted:

If you can't make it to see Ell in action, she'll be streaming the whole thing on Periscope.

And you can donate online.
