Yes, rain makes corn and corn makes whiskey — but rain also makes for a difficult and dangerous setup for an outdoor show. Poor Luke Bryan is learning the hard way.
The singer was forced to cancel and reschedule his Farm Tour show in Lexington, Kentucky, last night due to the weather.
Postponing a show is so difficult for me because I know it an inconvenience to the people that make my life amazing. The fans. Very sorry!

He went on to add,
Rain is not a good thing when farmers are trying to harvest crops and I'm doing farm tour shows.

And unfortunately the bad luck keeps falling like those raindrops. Now, other shows are on the chopping block, too.
Bryan also announced via Twitter that both his Saturday night show in Columbia, South Carolina, and his Knoxville, Tennessee, show scheduled for tonight have both been postponed because of the weather. They’d apparently already set up the stage in Knoxville before realizing they couldn’t go on.
Stage is up. Bring your rain boots. It's about to get fun Knoxville. #FarmTour2015 pic.twitter.com/eZd3fKsxnN

No one is more upset than Bryan himself, as evident by his series of Twitter posts.
I know you guys are mad. I am heartbroken. We schedule farm tour in October because it is historically the driest month of the year.

Atvs were bogging up. I will play in the rain but I can't strand you guys in your vehicles for days.

Bryan said in the seven-year history of the farm tour series, they’ve never encountered such difficulties and promised they will “learn and constantly get better.”
He tweeted:
Farm tour has forever been a growing dream of mine. This year is our biggest so far. Hang in there with me. I swear I will make it count

And he is already on his way. The canceled shows are being rescheduled.
Lexington, Kentucky, fans will get to see the show on Oct. 6, while Columbia, South Carolina, fans will get a second chance on Oct. 11. Knoxville, Tennessee,’s rescheduled date has yet to be determined.
Seeing country fans pile into places where no one ever thought a show would ever be possible is the most gratifying ever. Love yall
