Blake Shelton’s Good Place

Three Months After Divorce, Singer Sounds OK

Nobody would ever really be great after a divorce. But good? Blake Shelton will take good.

In a new interview with Katie Cook on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown, Shelton opened up about how he is feeling after his marriage to Miranda Lambert ended recently.

“I’m in a good place. I wasn’t, but I am now,” Shelton admitted. “It’s amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I’ve had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I’m loving it.”

He didn’t specify what those cool things were, but that doesn’t stop gossip magazines from inventing stories about cool or not-so-cool things that might be happening for Shelton.

“I’m good, I’m good. I’m not in rehab,” he said, joking that “I have to pick up a magazine every now and then to see what my alter ego, I guess, (is doing).”

It sounds like his career is keeping him busy, along with maintaining his Oklahoma lawn with a push mower.

“In the middle of processing chaos with my personal life, I walked out and I was thinking, ’What’s going on in my life?’ I mean, ’This is so crazy, but what the hell is going on with my yard? It’s like, are you kidding me? It’s like three feet tall out here. What happened,” he joked.
