That cutie pie Kelsea Ballerini is a superstar in the making, no doubt about it. And what she’s doing with all that star power makes her more lovable than ever before.
Ballerini is joining icons Martina McBride, Kelly Clarkson, and Reba for a night of music in Nashville celebrating Musicians On Call, a wonderful nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the besides of patients in healthcare facilities across the country.
The “Dibs” singer has long been a supporter of MOC, so joining this lineup was a no-brainer.
“I’ve had the chance to bring music to children at Vandy several times through Musicians On Call, and visibly seen how much music lifts their spirits,” she said in a statement. “I’m so blown away by all they do and am honored to be a part of this night with some of my favorite artists for them.”
The night will honor the efforts of Shane Tarleton, Vice President and Creative Director of Warner Music Nashville. Tarleton, a longtime supporter of MOC, will be given a “Golden Ukelele” for the Leadership in Music Award. Harlan Pease will be given the Volunteer Musician Award, while Sandra Morgan will receive the Volunteer Guide Award.
Just last year, Clarkson herself was honored for her efforts in supporting MOC during a record-breaking NYC celebration that raised over $700,000 for the organization.
The Rock the Room tour kicks off at Nashville’s City Winery with this exciting event on Oct. 21, but will travel to four more cities to celebrate MOC and deliver more deserving honors. Artists and honorees for those cities will be announced soon.
