Jason Aldean Announces 2016 Tour

Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses Join Forces in January

With three concerts remaining on his current schedule, Jason Aldean has announced plans for his We Were Here 2016 tour, a 24-city run launching Jan. 14 in Moline, Illinois.

Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses will join him on the U.S. dates, although Aldean will also make his first-ever visit to Australia to headline three shows in March.

The tour gets its name from Aldean’s current Top 15 single, “Gonna Know You Were Here.” A video for the song was recently directed by Shaun Silva in Aldean’s hometown of Macon, Georgia.

“This song pretty much sums up how I feel like me and my fans live our lives,” Aldean said. “That same excitement is what we feel out there on the road every night, which made it a great name for next year’s tour.

“It was pretty cool that we could bring that vibe to the music video, too, by shooting it back in Macon with a ton of people from my hometown. Getting back there and on that high school football field really reminded me of that rush of just living life without any regrets.”

Aldean’s current tour wraps up next week in Florida with concerts in Jacksonville, Tampa and West Palm Beach.
