CMT on Tour Expands With After-Party Featuring Ryan Hurd

Newcomer Hitting the Road With Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett

CMT on Tour is expanding its fall lineup with the addition of newcomer Ryan Hurd, who co-wrote CMA-nominated No. 1 single “Lonely Tonight” recorded by Blake Shelton and Ashley Monroe.

CMT on Tour: Brett Eldredge & Thomas Rhett -- Suits & Boots launches Thursday (Oct. 29) in New York City. Special guest Danielle Bradbery will open the shows.

Hurd kicks off the first-ever CMT on Tour Official After Party this weekend in Maryland, followed by shows in 13 additional markets. The announcement coincides with Thursday’s premiere of the singer-songwriter video for “Good as You Think I Am” on CMT.com. The video can be viewed on CMT and the network’s 24/7 digital music channel, CMT Pure, as well as CMT’s digital platforms, including the CMT Artists App.

On Friday, the Michigan native will also release a four-song EP entitled Panorama via streaming partners and on his official website, ryanhurdmusic.com.

In addition to “Lonely Tonight,” Hurd’s songs have been recorded by Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Rascal Flatts, Randy Houser, Darius Rucker, The Cadillac Three, Brothers Osborne and the Swon Brothers, among others.

“Ryan is already established in Nashville as a talented, emerging singer-songwriter,” said CMT senior vice president of music strategy and talent Leslie Fram. “Now, CMT is excited to introduce Ryan Hurd the artist. We’re thrilled to share his music and can’t wait for fans to meet him in-person on the road with us this fall.”

Admission to the CMT on Tour Official After Party is free to anyone with a CMT on Tour ticket.

Hurd is set to perform during tour stops in Maryland, Virginia, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Illinois.
