Brothers Osborne Busy With Pawn Shop

Siblings Provide Industry Friends a Sneak Peek of Their Debut Album

In a business filled with smoke and mirrors, I know I can always count on Brothers Osborne to keep it real — in life and in music.

The “Stay a Little Longer” duo threw a party earlier this week to celebrate the holidays and their forthcoming debut album Pawn Shop. The duo’s label family and friends gathered at the Basement East in Nashville to enjoy drinks, a photo booth, pizza and also a dessert bar full of tasty treats just like your mama makes every year at Christmas.

It was warm, cozy and welcoming, just like the brothers themselves.

Fellow artists and friends Lauren Alaina, Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves and John Osborne’s better half — singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas — were all in attendance to show their love and support at this special time.

They’ve been there. They know the debut album release is a monumental moment in an artist’s career. And believe me, the brothers know it, too.

“It’s challenging to have an entire life’s work summed up in 11 songs, so we really focused on having every track on this album held together by what John and I do,” says TJ Osborne. “We want it to be different scenes on each track but to keep each one honest and from our perspective.”

“Our upbringing certainly influenced the theme of this record,” John adds. “It’s who you’re with and who you are that makes you happy. For us, as long as you’re able to enjoy yourself with family and friends, you’re really living the good life.”

Pawn Shop is set for release on Jan. 15.
