Miranda Lambert: "There Ain't a Side"

She Encourages Everyone to Stay Positive, Be Supportive

Miranda Lambert admits that "2015 kind of sucked."

But you know what does not suck? Her attitude about the end of her marriage to Blake Shelton.

So while the whole world tries to paint an ugly, sordid picture of their divorce, it sounds like Lambert is the one with the best attitude about it all.

"I had a great relationship and an amazing man," she told Cosmopolitan magazine. "So I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future."

She also describes her ex as "as country as a biscuit," and I'm pretty sure she means that in a nice way.

And she explains that sometimes, it's just a simple matter of, people change. The two country singers met when Lambert was only 21, and now she is 32.

"You change as people," she said. "If I'm not a different person than I was at 21, then something's wrong with me."

The trash-talking and opinion-sharing got to be so bad when she and Shelton went public with their news over the summer, Lambert deleted Facebook, Twitter and Instagram apps from her phone.

What she'd prefer now is for everyone to move forward, like she is.

"We just need y'all to be supportive and nobody picks a side," Lambert said, "because there ain't a side."
