Charles Kelley’s Friends Help Out in Studio and Onstage

Lady Antebellum Member's Solo Debut Album Arrives Feb. 5

Charles Kelley has some special guests on his solo album and at a recent show in Florida.

The Lady Antebellum singer announced Friday (Jan 8) that he’ll release The Driver, his first-ever solo album, on Feb. 5.

The project includes the title track featuring Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay along with a collaboration with Stevie Nicks on the Tom Petty song, “Southern Accents,” and Miranda Lambert on “I Wish You Were Here,” a tune written by the multi-talented Jedd Hughes.

As for guest vocalists on the road, Kelley was performing in West Palm Beach earlier this week when Kelsea Ballerini showed up in the audience. The “Dibs” happened to be vacationing in Florida and simply stopped by to see the show.

However, you can’t just keep a singer like Ballerini in the audience, especially when you need a female voice to help you sing Lady A’s crossover smash “Need You Now.”
