Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt Grab Multiple Nominations at iHeartRadio Music Awards
Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt are among those with multiple nominations at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards scheduled for April 3 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
Taylor Swift led the field with eight nominations, although her categories reflect her move to the pop music.
Listed in four categories, Bryan is nominated for male artist of the year in a category that includes Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Sam Smith and the Weeknd. He's also a contender in the best tour category with Foo Fighters, Garth Brooks, U2 and Swift.
With three nominations, Hunt is up for best new artist against Fetty Wap, Hozier, Shawn Mendes and Tove Lo.
Bryan and Hunt share two categories, including country artist of the year with Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley and Thomas Rhett. Bryan's "I See You" and Hunt's "Take Your Time" are nominated for country song of the year alongside Chris Janson's "Buy Me a Boat," the Zac Brown Band's "Homegrown" and Brett Eldredge's "Lose My Mind."
