Little Big Town Getting 'Street' Cred

Quartet Films 'Sesame Street' Appearance

Little Big Town can now add “Street” cred to their long list of accomplishments as the group recently filmed an appearance for the hit children’s program Sesame Street.

Sesame Street shared a number of photos on social media highlighting the Grammy-winning group’s recent guest appearance as part of a #SesameTakesLA taping, adding, “What a Day! We love you @littlebigtown! Thanks for hanging out with us today!”

Other celebrities to tape Sesame guest spots this week in Los Angeles include Sia, James Corden, and Jason Derulo (who will also soon tape an episode of CMT Crossroads with Luke Bryan).

From Elmo to Grover — Little Big Town can be seen singing and posing (on hay bales, of course) with a number of Sesame Street all-stars. They even teamed-up with The Count for “a quick round of counting before we wrap!”

Jimi Westbrook also struck a pose with Sesame regular Abby Cadabby along with a Tweet proclaiming, “I’ve gotta girl crush…and her name is Abby Cadabby.”

Westbrook wasn't the only one smitten by Abby Cadabby's charms.

Meanwhile, Phillip Sweet rocked out with Cookie Monster…

Little Big Town told CMT in October 2014 that appearing on Sesame Street was actually a bucket list goal for the group.

Little Big Town follow in the steps of such other country acts as Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Waylon Jennings, Trisha Yearwood, Sugarland, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill who have all appeared on the beloved educational program.
