Austin Dillon Talks NASCAR and Party Down South

Wild Lyle Down

On the recent episode of Party Down South, the gang decides to take a weekend vacay to a NASCAR race, where they meet drivers Austin Dillon, Ty Dillon and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Meanwhile, Wild Lyle returns in full force by taking the bull by the horns, literally. But after some unexpected news about Santana, Lyle goes off the deep end and lands in an ambulance, rushing to the hospital.

We actually got to chat with Dillon, and get his take on the whole Lyle-Santana drama.

If he can finish in the top 10 at the 2016 Daytona 500, he’s gotta know a thing or two about weaving in and out of sticky situations. Let’s see what the driver of the no. 3 Chevrolet, for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, has to say.

First off, congrats on finishing in the top five at your recent race in Las Vegas. What are your favorite things to do in Vegas?

I have a buddy who runs a couple clubs out there, and I love going to all the different clubs. There’s so much you can do in Vegas. I like to play blackjack, but I’m not one of those players that’s trying to win. I like to break even.

How was hanging out with the Party Down South cast at the race track?

It was cool to talk to them, cause they’re all about the party, and NASCAR knows how to throw a party. They were definitely in their element. They were not afraid to say or do whatever they want.

Out of the eight cast members, who would you like to have a beer with?
Murray was really cool and easy to talk to. He’s just the right amount of party for me.

Not sure if you know this, but Tiffany has a bit of a crush on you. If you had to go on a date with a cast member? Tiffany?
Oh, I can’t go there! My girlfriend is the only one for me.

Any relationship advice for Lyle, or any one who might be in a similar situation?
You have to find someone who respects you more than that. There’s no exception truthfully. I think he needs to move on and find someone new.
