Britney Spears Hits the Opry for Jamie Lynn's Show

Siblings Head to Nashville for Sister's Appearance

Country newcomer Jamie Lynn Spears had a very nice surprise when she played the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday night (March 15): her big siblings.

Her sister Britney and brother Bryan were both in Nashville to catch her show, making it a little bit of a family reunion.

“Before we surprised @jamielynnspears tonight!! So proud of our baby sister,” Britney posted on her social media pages.

Jamie Lynn had posted a short video on Twitter of her parents and her seven-year-old daughter Maddie talking about what an honor it is to be asked to play that legendary stage.

“Only people who sing good get to go there,” the little girl explains, perfectly understanding what the Opry represents.

Spears herself, who has played the Opry before, added that when she received the call, “I was in shock. I just feel so blessed.”

Jamie Lynn and Britney do not have a country collaboration in the works (that we know of, anyway) as some have been speculating. But they did sing together on the Britney’s “Chillin’ With You” on her 2013 Britney Jean album.
