Carrie Underwood and an all-female cast kicked off the Academy of Country Music’s fourth annual ACM Party for a Cause festival Friday (April 1) in Las Vegas.
One of several events leading up to Sunday night’s ACM Awards show at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the special “ACM Women of Country Night” also featured Cam, Kelsea Ballerini, Martina McBride, Kellie Pickler, Maddie & Tae, Lauren Alaina, Kelleigh Bannen, Brandy Clark and Jana Kramer.

Miranda Lambert made a surprise appearance with Underwood’s set to perform “Something Bad,” and Alaina, Bannen, Kramer and Picker all joined Underwood onstage the festival’s grand finale on “Before He Cheats”
During the festival, ACM CEO Bob Romeo presented Ballerini with her ACM Award for new female vocalist of the year.
The ACM Party for a Cause continues Saturday with Dierks Bentley, Frankie Ballard, Lee Brice, Chris Janson, Dustin Lynch, Chris Stapleton, Chris Young, Chase Bryant, Chris Lane, Jackson Michelson and A Thousand Horses.
Kenny Chesney closes the festival Sunday with a full set following his performance on the ACM Awards show. Sunday’s festival lineup also includes Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Old Dominion, Lindsay Ell, Maren Morris and Granger Smith.
The 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
